Xiaomi introduced the flagship smartphone 12S Ultra. The announcement is available on the YouTube channel.

A distinctive feature of the device was a huge block with the main camera, which occupies a significant part of the rear panel. The body of the device received dimensions of 163x75x9 millimeters. In the element, which has a round shape, there is an inch Sony IMX989 sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels. Also on the back are two lenses – both with a resolution of 50 megapixels. It is specified that the camera was created in collaboration with Leica. There are proprietary filters Vivid, Natural, BW Natural and BW High Contrast.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra received a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels, a frequency of 120 hertz, support for AdaptiveSync Pro. The device is based on the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, has 8 or 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 or 512 gigabytes of internal memory.

The new device came with a 4860 milliamp-hour battery with support for 67-watt wired fast charging. The device is equipped with two additional Surge chips that manage the charging process, minimizing battery wear. Xiaomi 12S Ultra runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 skin.

Xiaomi has clarified that the smartphone will be sold exclusively in the Chinese market. The base version of Xiaomi 12S Ultra will cost 5999 yuan, the top version will cost 6999 yuan.
